Lights

For whatever reason, I've never seen a reason to Christmas decorations.

Trees, ornaments, plastic Santas, Nativity Sets....I just can't get excited about.

But lights - oo, lights.  

I would hang them year round if it were socially acceptable, and when wintertime comes around, I take hundreds of photos.  

For some reason entirely unrelated to the season, I think they're beautiful.

The bokeh, the sparkle...everything about them.

And with Christmas next week, and New Years not far behind, I'm seeing lights everywhere I turn.  Almost like they're inescapable, and I love it.

They make other Christmas decorations bearable.
